if the utilities do not ballance the loads on the lines this kind of thing happens.

If someone came and removed some of the steel strand that ballances the loads, or if new equipment was added without acconting for the new loads, then the lines can collapse, just as this happened.

If you look at the lay out of all the power poles you would be able to tell if things were ballanced.

Utilities have been collectivly bought up by heedless management companies that don't pay attention to the engineering and construction guidelines and let their infrastructure rot.

Meanwhile the poles are 'public domain' of a sort where utilities rivals are not prohibited from adding new runs. Multiple cable companies, mutliple phone companies, all the new 5G heavy equipment. It adds onto the load of the network and it upsets the ballance that the various side legs provide to the layout.

If the weights and loads are not ballanced, collapse is rather to be expected.

And collapse can be catestrophic.

But the mangers of those collectivized power companies are not engineers, but friends of the money that bought up the utility. They are illsuited tomanage, but they do it anyway.

It's really a scandal, nationwide.

and Gas companies, power companies, and others, have let their infrastructures rot.
