So, today I had a bunch of errands to run…Harbor Freight, Target, Home Depot, Wal-Mart.
I'm just a normal Anon…retired, who drives a pickup (with a big f'n Q on the back window) combs my hair, shaves, and wears clean clothes that match when I go out.
Sometime in last 20 years or so, this went from being normal to being abnormal. As in, I was the abnormal one…this is a figure of speech because all those around me were wearing their best meme attire and showing off their tatt canvas regardless of where the tatt was. Men were wearing their hair like women…seriously, up in buns, ladies cuts, it looked like a drag show. And these were the supposedly accompanied males (if you could call them that). Then there were the alternatives. It was like shopping in a Key West parade or something.
This is all in a supposedly conservative southern metro area…what the rest of the country must be like is frightening.
And people wonder why we don't watch TV, listen to the radio, and soon…go out if we can help it.
When did Key West move north? Are there any more or less traditionally normal areas left in the U.S.? Or do even the normal people cross dress and drive beta cars…pretty glad I missed the mass emasculation event, hoping some corner of the homeland has been spared. Hopeful, but not optimistic.
