I understand the sentiment but please don't. Believe me, you don't want Thomas stumbling back into other breads with his namefag crew. He's up to 32 posts in a day old bread. He is contained here. Thomas might actually uncover something if he gets off wikipedia. Let him have this.
>In other words I'm being kicked out
You're killing me Thomas. Nobody is kicking you out, maybe just take a back seat for a while. Really immerse yourself in the board and find stuff that resonates with you. You definitely have the focus to dig, sharpen that skill and keep digging.
>He came here to drop his "research" and to make connection with others who want to focus on research and not on boobs, arguments, insults and shilling.
The board owner bumplocked his thread. That means the board owner found the information in the thread irrelevant and/or redundant. Bumplocking is like a polite way of saying LURK MOAR.
Oh! Well why didn't you say so! An archeologist! I'm super impressed. Right this way sir to the VIP section! I guess the purpose of this place is completely lost on you.
Yes, BO/BV same difference in this situation. Good to see someone is actually reading announcements and rules. Here's a lesson in 8chan kids.
The bumplock "is" the decision they made. I guess in this case, they must've come to that decision as a team or it wouldn't have happened. With a bumplock, instead of outright deleting the thread instantly, you have time to archive relevant information before the thread inevitably dies. Posts aren't usually outright deleted on 8chan unless it's an extreme rule violation, like raiding or pizza parties.
