While I didn't much care for how this was worded, the core message actually doesn't completely suck.
Not concernfagging; just using objective discernment.
When POTUS talked about "D.C. celebration on July 4th", I don't think he meant THIS summer, I believe he meant the following Independence Day.
There's just too much left to clean up to accomplish in just 11 more weeks, but it makes moar sense for the following summer. That timeframe lines up perfectly to build momentum and continue steamrolling right on through the 2020 elections.
