I used the USGS Earthquake catalog to look for these 10km deep events I've been seeing here.

The number of events over time is staggering, so I had to figure out how to take the data in bites. I limited the search area to rectangles on the map for each continent. The results are very surprising. I looked past the events occurring constantly at the continental boundaries. Africa and Asia are covered in these intercontinental events.
Oddly, very few of these events occurred in North America, Europe, Australia, Antarctica (no pic), or Russia. The more you know, I guess… The site crashed as was was taking my final couple of screen shots.
