Not much digging needed.

Well known problem, mostly of stupid wastewater disposal/injection, similar probably to Oklahoma.

Wouldn't know why you'd worry about EQs <= 2, 'cause those are hardly even noticeable by humans.

But with fracking (like they do in Tenessee – Chattanooga Shale), the problem is mostly injection of wastewater back into the rock.

The short USGS article says that fracking itself causes (small) EQs as well, but in the large majority of cases (like in OK) significant seismicity is mostly caused by injecting wastewater into the ground.

Fracking produces lots of amounts of wastewater – companies make it easy getting rid of it by injecting it into the formation.

But really, EQs <= 2 are really not an issue. Worry about it when mag is 3.5 or so.
