I've been thinking about the so called red flag gun laws and I think there's moar to the reasons behind them than just taking guns w/out due process. How do you get a large, Constitution loving ,law and order loving, Patriotic ,gun owning majority of a population to stop supporting their law enforcement officers and make them view them as enemies?
You get them to enforce unconstitutional laws that criminalize law abiding citizens, who will then start to view the police as enemies. The police who won't enforce the unconstitutional laws will be replaced with officers who will, accelerating the problem and cementing the division. My 2c anyway.
