I understand what you are saying and we are not that far apart at all. You could be totally correct and yes the language needs reworked. At some point EM is also a Theory but there seem to be more you can prove by lab experiments. When after around Maxwell. Science turned into Math making what our existence is and not discovering the math. They started to just add things like Einstein's inflation for example. They just break a rule to make the equation work. The biggest problem I see is the "Steady state" hold over. This is in everything from carbon dating to each area of science. They take a statistical sample of even 1,000 years and then expand that over billions as if what we see happening now always was and there were no periods of time when things went faster. Thanks.
