So have I understood correctly, Snowden never left HK in 2013 for Russia as was reported by the media but actually stayed in HK?
Maybe just my wierd brain but I find it interesting that the censoring of Winnie the Pooh in China ( to the counter the memes of Xi on social media resembling Pooh Bear) started in 2013 and has been reiterated very recently by Chinese authorities.
The author AA Milne was a British propagandist/spy during WWI. His son’s teddy bear was called Edward before the name was changed to Winnie, inspiring the character in his books. Fun fact anyway.
