the 'bankrupting' of the non profit health care system happened by taking over the local health boards.

Many towns had 'public not for profit' hospitals, that were a charitable trust.

after one group got cucked, the 'health boards' , also cucked would vote for a 'merger' .

so after the merger they whole thing would be insolvent. They would keep paying the huge saleries.

after a time, well, they just 'had to' vote to take it all private, to give it to their special friends.

You can also investigate how nursing homes were looted and also taken 'for profit'. the person who ran Americore, the volunteer org out of the White house from the last administration is a person of interset in these matters. how they got rich suddenly. How they made that windfall, and then divested, and then went to work for Barry in the Whitehouse.

I watched all this happen over a period of 20 or more years. There was no one who would listen to my rants about it. I suppose if I'd been more diligent in getting the news out, but you know what happens to people who speak the truth.

the key for me with Barry was that he didn't pay his parking tickets when he was in the Cambridge area haveing his degree in law handed to him for what might have been a pay out (my guess, i have no proof, i conjecture)
