Second Baker congressional interview transcript reveals US Attorneys with Rosenstein at McCabe meetings on wearing a wire. Jim Crowell and Scott Schools. The timeline for Crowell doesn’t match up to Bakers dates for 25th Amendment meeting. Crowell was later moved by Sessions to another office in DOJ in Dec. 2017; Schools leaves overseeing Mueller investigation for private sector mid 2018

Mr. Meadows: And you don't know who else was in that meeting?
Mr. Baker: It was other – my recollection is that there were other people in the room from the Deputy Attorney General's Office. ..Jim Crowell at least, who I think was the chief of staff at the time to the DAG.. It may have been Scott Schools also from the Department who worked in the DAG's office”
Baker said that Jim Crowell was at the meetings with McCabe and Rosenstein between May 10-17, 2017 About Rosenstein wearing a wire. The odd thing is Crowell was not appointed to as Chief of Staff for Rosenstein until June 19th, 2017, a month after these meetings. In May he was still a Maryland US attorney, so the questions and thoughts are:
-
Why is an unrelated US attorney attending highly confidential meetings with FBI and Rosenstein right after Jim Comey’s firing?
-
Maybe the meetings on “wearing a wire” by Rosenstein didn’t occur in May, but a full month later in June.
