They must think they are on the "white" side, ie Light side. If they really were, they'd be supporting POTUS instead of fighting against him.
Deal time?
One day last week, amid spiraling fallout over special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe , House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dialed up the president and requested a meeting.
It was the first phone call between the two since the testy days of the government shutdown earlier this year, and it seemed productive. They are planning to meet, she told The Associated Press in a Wednesday interview.
They could change the subject from the ongoing investigations that pose risks for both parties
Most of their phone call last week revolved around infrastructure, and she said the intention is to "get a dollar figure" as a starting point for the discussions.

Just a thought…
What if the "dollar figure" is the amount POTUS is requesting Nancy and her cohorts supply from the bribes they've taken from the Mexican drug cartels. Infrastructure might include the wall.
While house hunting I've noticed that every house I go to also has a Hispanic family looking too. I wondered how all these allegedly poor Mexican families can afford a house when I barely can, and my friend said it's because Mexicans don't have to pay a down payment, only Americans have to do that.
In desperation I went to a trailer park to inquire about lots. Everyone there was Hispanic and the girl told me there were not lots. But a Hispanic family came in while I was there and miraculously there was a lot for them.
The other day there was a news story on tv about a high school sports team that won a bunch of awards. There was not one white person on the team. Most of them couldn't even speak English.
We are being overrun and discriminated against in our own country.
