I have a sincere question with no disrespect intended, just trying to understand.

So the US gives billions to Israel and now Israel sent a rocket to the moon. That must have cost millions if not more. If they have hungry elderly Holocaust survivors on TV asking for donations, why would they squander so much of their money on a moon mission and not help their own people. Makes no sense to me.

I see those commercials and my mind keeps going back to how much money we give to Israel for aid. Why are they not caring for the hungry in Israel with the money we give them and why spend so much on a moon mission. I pray for this whole world and for answers someday.
