Assange can be thought of as the source of the email leaks. Assange has been in protective custody for several years, at this point. It wouldn't have been impossible to get in to kill him, but it would have been such an obvious hit that it would have lent credibility and driven interest in the insurance files.

Seth Rich being alive wouldn't exactly surprise me, but that is kind of wishful thinking. There are a lot of weird claims about SR from that night - but no one I know was there or has any further insight than the rumor mill.

The source could also be the server and/or digital intercepts of any discussions about it. It could be one or all of these things. Never put all your eggs in one basket and be willing to run to the finish with any that survive attrition.

There are more good people than bad.

Also, this depends on expectations. Many people are still under the impression that the U.S. wants to imprison or otherwise damage Assange, route his networks, etc.

Keep in mind that POTUS and Q are relatively new factors to most of these people. There may be panic, but they still believe they have more control and agency than they actually do. They think their tried and true strategies of destroying people are relatively foolproof.

They are basically noobs camping the rocket launcher spawn and keeping the playground on lockdown until an adult logs in and has their way with them using almost any weapon.

They haven't quite figured out, yet, that what has worked for decades will not work this time, and it's far too late for them to develop any other skills or strategy to turn the game around.

To put it in the most simple terms - they have no idea what they are doing, but feeding Assange to the courts sounds like what used to work. And there are plenty of good people who are willing to make sure he doesn't get harmed or killed, even if they think he has done something wrong. The courts are that process. Mob and assassin justice have no place in our society.

FISA and Email.

Remember the Roger Stone indictment over their discussions of Hillary emails? That is how all of this fits in. Were those email leaks the same ones as Assange? Where did Assange get those emails? Etc etc.

As for what will ultimately happen with him regarding some of his other actions and leaks - not really sure. I could be wrong, but the only instance I am aware of POTUS using a pardon is after someone has served a sentence for a crime and the conviction is unreasonably standing in the way of their career. Such as the sub guy.

So, however this plays out, I don't expect to see Assange treated as a lowly criminal at the end. He may have broken some laws and done some things that will see a punishment - but I also don't see him rotting away in jail or truthfully coming away with a stained reputation next to his role in global events.
