They did not cremate 6 million Jews. You simply are ignorant, and have heard one too many bed time stories. They lined people up, and shot them. They would make others bury the dead, and then dig their own graves. In the final days, with the Allies closing in, the Nazis got sloppy. Entire wards of prisoners were completely forgotten, and left to starve. Locked cattle cars full of dead bodies– fresh arrivals that had never been unloaded in the panic and chaos of the exfill.
You would know this, if you had ever spoken to anybody who was actually there, and not only saw it but were responsible for cleaning up the corpses.

My uncle was, as I said in my OP. Half of the shit in the DC Holocaust museum came out of his attic. I still have some of the items that I kept.

They tattooed prisoners because the Nazis were brow-beating bookkeepers, who were extremely diligent in their record keeping. (Which is how we now know so much about the inner workings of the Third Reich.)
The concentration camps weren't initially conceived as death camps, necessarily. Most of them functioned as labor camps, in order to provide the fascists with a cheap work force. You keep track of the work force with brands (tattoos). Every serial number is attached to an identity– just like the cattle in Iowa. (Some cattle you slaughter for meat, other cattle you keep and put to work to get milk. The Nazis treated their camps with the same mentality.)
Oh and they didn't kill 6 million– they killed 11 million. The 6 million number everybody throws around is the estimate of the Jews that were killed, but nearly just as many disabled, gay, and other "undesirables" in the eyes of the Nazis were also killed.
I don't give a fuck about Muh Joo fags and anti-fags. As far as I'm concerned, you can all go blow each other in Kevin Spacey's basement. I don't have enough data to make a definitive opinion on Muh Joo, but I am skeptical of those who try to manipulate me into hating people i do not know. (Chances are, Mossad is full of a bunch of dirtbag assholes, just like the CIA, and the whole thing needs to be destroyed, just like the CIA. But I don't have to data to make that call right now.)
