>and lynchings can begin
Not lynching.
Also anons should keep in mind when it comes to being convicted of treason, put to death is only one of the possible punishments :
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, OR shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Interesting read, especially the part about "military spacecraft."
Led me to look over the rules of civilians (i.e. Hilldawg) relation to the UCMJ. Came across this:
"While the UCMJ applies to members of the military, it can also apply to civilians under Art. II sec. 10 which used to read โIn time of war, persons serving with or accompanying an armed force in the field.โ

Fucked up on the copy pasta-
While the UCMJ applies to members of the military, it can also apply to civilians under Art. II sec. 10 which used to read โIn time of war, persons serving with or accompanying an armed force in the field.โ Recently, the rewording of the UCMJ has expanded the coverage of civilians working with the military overseas. A new amendment to the UCMJ, attached a spending bill in 2007, changes the language from โin time of warโ to โin time of declared war OR CONTINGENCY OPERATION.
Oh my god.
