now we download hundreds a bread and if a few are slow many complain.

in order to get an image, when the download through the browser locks, prefer using wget, a command line utility.

use the -O flag in this way, if the file name doesn't suit you:

wget <some remote image file url-O <mynewfilename>

if using the -O to name the output file, make sure you use a file extension that represent what the original file was.
