Red thread of fate. Symbolism is important.

The theme is not nearly as uncommon as you might think it is. Reptilians? Why not stuffed animal satan?

Madoka Magica is a very intriguing exploration of the concepts of morality. What is a good action versus a bad action… And why?

The symbolism of it is also very impressive.

The use of the Higanbana, the Nutcracker Witch who has an army who hunts down white rats. Her learning of the truth, that the world they are in is her own witch's labyrinth results in the descent of owls.

I could rave on it and Kill la Kill.

Psycho-Pass is more direct and less symbolic, but does directly reference Gulliver's Travels, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, 1984, etc.

If Communism was such a massive threat to taking over on its own, then how did Russia climb out of it?

The reason socialism and communism have appeal to many is because they sense there is an injustice in the system and the idea of giving the same companies pressing them for more work and fewer benefits an even greater amount of power over their lives seems like a very bad idea.

Carrot and stick. When the same people funding communist activists hold majority stock in the major brand owners of most companies and/or the banks holding the leans on every leveraged asset… Then it kind of becomes obvious they are dialing up the pressure to try and create a social divide that would, otherwise, not really exist.

The fact that it has taken as long as it has shows how resilient our nation is, and the speed we will rebound away from it will be lightning quick, as well. Socialism and communism aren't new waves of revolutionary thought which must be beaten back by force. They are tools of desperation. Just look at all the old symbolism. People aren't motivated to socialism by arguments of "here is what we will all be doing" - but instead "join the fight!" How they market it says it all about what people buy into it for. Once the need to fight is taken away, the push for socialism and communism will go with it.
