I'm old enough to remember when it was really nice & enjoyed "going downtown" on the weekends…

My parents born in 1940's of course remember the "Detroit City of Lights ~ The Paris of the West"…

My Dad went into Detroit w/his Marine buddies during the curfew nights of the 1968 Riots ~ my folks witnessed the "Paris-Detroit" turn into "Detroit-Hell-on-Earth"…
