The discomfort is due to Graham and Barr knowing that DiFi's spy will not be pursued. She let him go, and that will be the end of it as far as the DOJ and government is concerned. To shine light deeper would be embarrasing to the institutions, and that is just not tolerated.

 

At the same time, Graham wanted to plant in the public mind that the DOJ warned off the DEM with a spy in the midst, and attempted to prosecute Trump (supposedly with) a spy in the midst. That difference in treatment needs to be explained, he says. That's BS too. The explanation is simple. The DOJ is political, and works against anybody that threatens the plan., and Trump threatened the plan.

So, what if she has said "some radical Isalmists perpetrated a terrorist attack" instead of "some people did something?" The rest of her argument would have stood just the same. The fact that she watered down the predicate is evidence she believes the attack was righteous.
