Ocassionally Coherant also says that if we do not cut emissions 50% in 12 years we're all dead. I don't know what she means "we" refers to here, however it's clear it cannot mean the U.S.only as that would be such a trivial reduction, and would depress prices for fossil fuels, which China and India (for instance) would readily consume. Since she has neither the intelligence nor authority to change the minds of the Chinese (for instance), then the goal is unachievable.
That she may believe that she does is frightening in and of itself, but further, that she is so cavalier as to believe she can do that and waste time on this trivial by comparison issue (to her–the earth dies), simply boggles the mind.
