If you are referring to taxpayers in general in the USA, then it is working out great, now that Trump's new tax codes are in effect and we are saving money.

If you are talking about the taxpayers in NYC in the area which lost the Amazon deal, then they should be angry that they do not have Amazon there to help pay a ton of taxes into the state to help them relieve their individual tax burdens.

Anyone with a brain would be mad to lose so much tax revenue pouring into New York coffers from Amazon and the jobs they would have provided.

You see, what AOC missed, is that if Amazon does not go to NY, then NY gets NOTHING from Amazon.

However, if Amazon had gone there, then NY would have received tax revenue from Amazon, albeit at reduced rates not available to most businesses (the tax breaks).

However, getting something out of Amazon is better than getting nothing from them at all, which is what NY now has ended up with.

There were a lot of people in New York hurt by the morons who ran Amazon away. It may cost AOC her next primary election (it will if the people there are smart enough). However, I hate to see her go. She is one of the best things to help tear apart and destroy the Democrat party that we have seen in a long time.

AOC was only one of the idiots screaming about Amazon and wanting them to go away. There were other morons in Albany. But they, like the people who wrote the scripts that you are trying to read from, just didn't understand basic economics.

I am not a fan of horrible Cuomo. But even that idiot knew that losing the Amazon deal was a terrible blow to NY.
