Had a similar experience with a dark presence standing at the foot of my bed. I refused to open my eyes and acknowledge it, but kicked in it's direction. Once gone, I turned on a podcast that was speaking the word of God and left it on all night. I feel I rebuked that presence and claimed my sovereignty. I know it sounds weird, because it is.
We each have a say in our experiences and these dark forces use deception to make us think we're powerless. We're taught not to judge, to be polite, to defer, etc. I now know that my judgements based on my experiences are valid information that God can use as input to a larger judgement. We are points of reference, points of perspective – and with that, I register my judgement against those who exploit and manipulate the innocent. I imagine these dark souls being sucked into a black hole and disintegrating.
