It apears that Mr. Arthur Dozier of The Florida School for Boys would have preferred to be in charge of The Florida School for Girls in Ocala, FL. Looking at a map, Ocala is in between the boys schools in Marianna and Okeechobee. Alyce Macpherson ran the Girls school. They even named it after her but dropped the a in mac.
