So the EU, just like every other socialism "experiment" ruins economies and is prohibitively expensive. To prop up this fact they've placed obscene tariffs on our goods to favor their own "economies."

By Trump slapping tariffs on them the EU loses this crutch (and thus any financial perk they offer the countries in the EU) and will be forced to break up and allow the individual countries to negotiate their own trade deals.
