FACTS
We know Acosta is not truthful, he avoids the truth and offers up his own slanted, agenda and weaponized version of the truth.
POWER
CNN, and Acosta do possess power, the power of influence and opinion. Never underestimate this power, because it is life and career changing. Should CNN do a show on you personally, it can easily destroy your life, your career, your friendships etc. This is the power of public opinion and slander.
Now, we know he has no truth, there is no "power" in the any aspect of his or his journalist integrity which can be considered 'truthful'. Also, we know that "Lies" are more popular for ratings, which is a significant part of his contract and his employers business (ratings = advertising revenue).
So, there is no truth, but there is power in lies.
This award is a circle jerk, we all know what corporations control 90% of the media, and they all want "advertising revenue". Their power is money and influence, there version of "truth" is paying a court fine, retracting a statement or issuing an apology for "lying". They will pay you damages, after your life is totally destroyed.
So this award is nothing more than: Lies for Ratings
Q, can POTUS congratulate Acosta for his "Lies for Ratings" award, or something similar.
