Anons, learn to bake

Although there may be millions of anons involved in Q movement, the number of bakers on this board is very small–estimated between 10-20, fewer if you mean regular bakers.

24 x 7 = 168 hours each week.

Also, because of changing circumstances, bakers sometimes get called away by IRL stuff, so we constantly need NEW BAKERS to replace those who are no longer available.

Two main duties:

1. collecting Notes

2. making new threads

Note-taking: May be start with Late night / early am shifts often lack bakers. Departing bakers usually ask anons to collect notes until a baker arrives. Good time to practice note-taking either in a text editor or pastebin. But on any shift that says it's GHOST BAKE, note-takers are appreciated.

Thread-making: Go to /Comms/ to get the timing down for making new threads and working with pastebin files. Confusing at first (to me at least) but gradually do-able.

Baking is essential to keep the kitchen open 24/7.

I posted the JPEG notice to at least make anons aware of the JPEG problem (many were not). Lots of stuff that comes off the net is in JPEG form, alas, so phone fags would indeed find it hard to change format (or maybe even to know what format they are using).

Not sure the best way to solve this problem once and for all. But know that JPEGs don't appear necessarily because of laziness.

If it's a Q post, I sometimes replace the JPEG with something else when I'm baker, because it's particularly important that these graphics be visible to all.

What app do you use? I'm collecting info on this to make it easier for anons to avoid the JPEG problem.

I think that both MS-PAINT and SNAGIT use PNG as a default.

My thought was first to make people aware of the problem, which many were not.

As moar know why there's a problem, we can then pin down ways to avoid it.

Right now, if I'm baking, if I see tweets with jpegs and no copy in the Comment box, I look for another post with either non-jegs and/or the tweet copies to Comments.

Yes, the bots have something automatic that kicks in after baker posts. You can sit and watch if after posting the dough.

I don't know exactly what they use to track the dough post. Words like "dough" or "pastebin" ?The format of the pastebin file?

Now that they know, that is. For a long time, a lot of people did not know why some graphics disappeared after the current bread, even bakers. Took me a while to find someone who knew why.

Blanks pics in future breads is not a FORM problem, but a CONTENT problem. That's why it's relevant (particularly for Q drops). The discussion is useful, anon, because it's helps make anons more aware. Until recently, many did not know why the pics disappeared NB.

Maybe so, I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt, because anyone phone-fagging could be at work, etc. Same goes when anons post stuff with minimal info (like the date of the post or a good description of the post). As a baker, it is MUCH easier when that info is provided. Some some of the best autists on this board are not as skilled with words (or as careful when checking dates or whether posts are in the Archive) as they could be.

Takes all kinds, bakers or more experienced anons make suggestions and hope people respond. And many do. Learning process for us all.

It's been in global notables for less than a month. Posted it a couple of weeks ago, I think.

For me, if there are two posts with with JPEG and one with PNG (etc), the second gets Noted UNLESS the first has a lot of great textual info. Then may both get noted.

If there's only one tweet that's JPEG, I will sometimes use the link to create a new PNG screenshot. If there's time.
