When we pray in the Spirit (the gift of other tongues) we invoke prayers which cannot be interfered with by the enemy or even by ourselves. For we utter things given by Holy Spirit which are not perceived or manipulated by the intellect. So even we cannot mess it up. Child like faith and effective in our battle at all times. Paul recommended praying in the Spirit as well as with the intellect.
