Not quite halfway, but we're gettin' there
I posted the JPEG Global a couple of weeks ago because many anons did now know JPEGS were a problem. For some reason, it's coming up in every bread tonight.
This "being lazy and hovering" thing is irrelevant. We should do the best we can when posting info; that's why I alerted anons to the JPEG problem. Even so, I don't force anyone to change from JPEG but hope most will want to do so when they understand the problem. That is just common sense.
But it's nothing to fight over. Do what you want. Bakers will do the same. I will choose non-JPEGs over JPEGs if both are available.
If you think anything doesn't belong in Notes, I'm open to feedback. It's hard to determine what's notable when it comes to anons looking at Q drops and DJK correspondences. People can have different opinions. I can go either way in most cases.
If 2 anons post the same thing but one is JPEG, I'd pick the other. If there's only JPEG–and I have time–I'll post the screenshot myself as a PNG. But bakers don't have that much time. Better if anons can take the time to do it. It's about actual CONTENT, friend–not just form. Content is better when it's visible (espec. tweets when all we have is the screenshot).
If people want a (you) and are prepared to put out great stuff, that's fine. I'm not here to judge, just to find posts that are clear, well-organized, and relevant.
I would make every effort to post it myself, anon.
