Been grown & cultivated for 1,000s of years without any extravagant "production costs". Can easily be overgrown so the price is $5 an ounce for any kick-ass sativa or indica or hybrid. One male and one female grown to 6 feet high and grown just for seeds can produce a shit-ton of marijuana for years. In fact, the more money you spend on production costs, the more phony and artificial your weed tastes. It also tends to be quickly high-tolerance — takes more & more tokes to cop a buzz. Fuck you. The weed should be free, or at the very least, very inexpensive.
Man, if you ain't growing it because you are drawn to it like a moth to a lightbulb, then why bother? It should not be "work". It should feel like a lucky privilege. If there's other things you'd rather spend your time & energy doing, then you ain't really cut out to grow superior weed. Weed grown with love & fascination smokes and tastes much better than weed grown simply for mercenary purposes.
