They went after his wife. They went after hia family. They went after his sons. They went after his daughter and his in-laws. They went after his friends, his partners, and his associates. Everybody who ever knew or worked with him came under fire.

Barron Trump, Donald's only child with Melania, became the subject not only of scrutiny, but also of targeted harassment and bullying. "Barron Trump is a future school shooter." "Barron Trump is autistic." "Barron Trump ought to be ripped from his arms and locked in a cage with pedophiles."

Twitter-approved, blue-checkmark celebrities with as much fame and clout as Peter Fonda thought it was okay to say that about a 12-year-old boy. An innocent preteen boy who had nothing to do with his father's politics, his business decisions, or his presidency.

They went after Ivanka Trump. They went after her reputation, her brand, and her businesses. They tried to create salacious sexual rumors about her and to ruin everything that carried her name.

They went after Melania, his wife. They lambasted her with rumors and accusations and tried to drive a wedge into her marriage. They made her out to be everything from a whore to a foreign spy to a white supremacist. They treated her with utter disrespect never before shown to a First Lady.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Donald Trump Jr., who carries his father's namesake, has taken the worst of the flak out of all his children. Behind the President himself, Don Jr. has had more scrutiny, hit pieces, smears, harassment, threats, accusations, and outright slander thrown at him than any other Trump. For over 2 years now, it has been taken as a given in the mainstream media narrative that whatever corruption or treason now-President Trump was indicted on, whatever shady business dealings of his were unearthed, and whatever he was guilty of, would also implicate and bring down his son. They slathered over the thought. The Mueller Report, it was said, would finally land Don Jr. in jail.

They were absolutely relentless in attacking those close to Trump within his administration and within his circle of associates. Anybody who so much as spoke a positive word about him was immediately labeled a Russian spy, a white supremacist nazi, a race traitor, a backwards yahoo, or with some other insult. Nobody in the public eye could say anything in support of Donald Trump without a hit piece. Against those who represented and worked within his administration, they unleashed their full arsenal of media, legal, and intelligence assets. They tried to turn them against him with threats and blackmail, and those who stood fast were railroaded, bankrupted, harassed, sued, dragged through the mud, arrested, lambasted, and generally just destroyed as persons in society.

But for all the venom they spewed at those close to him, they saved the worst for Donald J. Trump himself.

They did everything they could to assassinate his name and his character. They made him out to be a degenerate, a thief, a rapist, a loser, a cuckold, a liar, a con artist, an idiot, a literal fascist, a tyrant, a traitor, a stooge, and the next Hitler. This, of course, is all arguably normal political discourse, but they did it on a scale never seen before. Overnight and for 3 years afterwards, every celebrity, every media talking head, every pundit, every comedian, every talk show host, every sitcom, every cartoon, every cartoon sitcom, every newspaper, every actor and actress in Hollywood, every musician and pop star, and every director and screenwriter were all going after him, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Nothing but negative coverage, to the extent of absurdity.

Time and again, effigies of candidate, and later President Trump, were shown being done violence, and even murdered, in all forms of media. Shakespeare's Julius Caesar with Trump as Caesar, stabbed to death in Central Park. Kathy Griffin holding Trump's severed head. Snoop Dogg shooting Trump in a music video. And none of this, of course, was meant to incite any violence.

They spied on him, during his campaign and during his presidency. They lied to courts and to the FBI in order to produce a false and slanderous document against him, and in order to obtain an excuse to spy on him. This will come out in the wash, but POTUS has been adamant the whole time that the Obama administration "wiretapped" Trump Tower.

They did all they could to sabotage his presidency. They even threatened peace talks. They did all they could to turn his associates and confidants against him. They did all they could to hurt and threaten anything he tried to get done, and to make him feel alone.

And last but not least, they tried to frame him for treason-the penalty for which, in the United States, is death. That point cannot be overstated. They tried to frame a sitting president for a capital offense and pulled out every stop in order to accomplish it.

Given all of the above-towards him, towards his family, and towards everybody he ever worked with-do you really think they would have been satisfied with the 5-year-minimum sentence? Or was all of the hatred and vitriol pumped out through the media intended to normalize the thought of killing Donald Trump, and thereby to prime and prepare the public to accept such an outcome?

None of the above is political in nature. None of this has anything to do with party, law, demographics, societal norms, geopolitics, or economics. In fact, the old guard has shown that it is all too willing to set aside party, creed, and principle as long as it sets them against Donald Trump. This is entirely personal. And this all-out campaign of personal destruction is supposed to be forgiven so easily. President Trump is supposed to let bygones be bygones and handle this with presidential restraint and dignity.

Nothing can stop what is coming. Beware the fury of a patient man.

Only tangentially-related, but synesthesia essentially highlights the fact that humans have more than 5 senses.

If audio>kinetic is an abnormal wiring of two senses, then that suggests that normal humans have a sense of kinetics and motion as an individual sense.

Similarly, spatial-sequence variants of synesthesia suggests that people normally have a sense of arrangement and sequence as an individual sense.

Temperature, pain, and a sense of space or motion might all actually be distinct senses from just "touch" or "feeling," as highlighted by the fact that hearing being wired to one is not the same as hearing being wired to the other.

Everything that can be wired to sight, hearing, taste, smell, or vision likely exists as a distinct sense in normal individuals. That means the average person has a double-digit number of senses.

Look, I'm stoned, too, but they're scrubbing something as we speak. We need to find out what and why.

So far, outages reported in EU, Canada, NZ, and Aussieland. All either EU or FVEY.

This may be a happening in progress.
