The day has arrived! I live downtown, in South Bend. It’s hoodtastic. They keep saying there could be 10,000 people? There’s no way. Terrible weather and nobody cares? Not anybody that lives here anyway. They all squawk Democrat regardless. It’s raining and South Bend has a major infrastructure problem, bc our money was misappropriated towards glamour projects. Apparently, that includes Studebaker Building 84. I hadn’t noticed. I just drove by, 1.5 hours to go, and nothing too exciting. He’s cowering behind the tent city bridge, as far as I’m concerned.

Also trying to find someone who knew him in high school. No luck yet, which is fucking weird. Military service looks fake af too.

Off topic, but still relevant:

I just realized that during Notre Dame football home games, ALL the cops are directing traffic? A fair majority of other events as well. There’s some sort of official agreement, but… ND pretty much owns the police. And if you call to report crimes like theft? Cops come, ask questions, and then nothing happens; they literally don’t care. People just drive around stealing your shit! It’s ridiculous.

Not to mention, people die fairly frequently. Young girls, old girls, beggar men, thieves. Notre Dame students die way less than us peasant folk. But it’s been well over a decade and I STILL wonder what happened to the kid in the river. Last seen heading up river, on the street and ends up further down, caught up under a bridge. Between street and river remains a mystery.
