I speak with my hands often ;) when I make that motion, I am usually saying " It's over" "It's done" or any other words to suggest it is over . Typing this I tried to mirror it and I even split my pinky off from my other fingers as seen here. I tell my kids " I'm DONE" often so this is a common hand movement for me lol
