Steve Bannon Calls Soros A Role Model, Pope Francis The Enemy

Steve Bannon admires George Soros, hates Pope Francis, and has gone full-throttle to oppose the 'open-border' advocates with the launch of a European nationalist powerhouse.

Based out of a thirteenth-century Carthusian monastery 90 minutes outside of Rome, Bannon has teamed up with Italy's Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, Catholic UK politician Benjamin Harnwell and American Cardinal Raymond Burke - who has called Islam a threat and is an open supporter of US President Donald Trump.

Bannon spoke recently with The New Yorker's Elisabeth Zerofsky - who describes him as "corpulent" (clearly a fan), and provided an update to a story we originally reported on last June.

In short, Bannon's new academy seeks to coordinate nationalist movements across Europe as a "right-wing response to George Soros's Open Society Foundation," which Bannon says he admires for its power and organization.

The monastery will host events with speakers like Bannon and Burke and conservative Christian leaders.

Harnwell and his organization are an important connection between Bannon and Burke. Harnwell is the one who first introduced the two, according to a New York Times article that is displayed on Harnwell’s website. Bannon spoke at one of Harnwell’s’ conferences by grainy video link back in 2014 during which he warned that the migration exodus would lead to a rise in populism. Burke was the keynote speaker the year before. -Daily Beast

"Soros has done an amazing job," said Bannon in reference to leftist organizations that feed into NGOs, government and media. "He’s created cadres, and those cadres have immense political power. To me he’s a role model in that regard."

Speaking of his new academy, Bannon says that young professionals "who want a change in life" will be able to attend for a few weeks - or even an academic year, to form the foundations of a Soros-like network in media and government.

The former Breitbart Chairman also has ambitions for a think tank.

Nepal: 3 dead, 3 injured in Plane Crash at Tenzing-Hillary Airport

In a tragic incident, a pilot and two police personnel lost their lives in a plane crash at Nepal’s Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Solukhumbu district on April 14. Three others who were injured in the crash have been admitted to hospital for treatment. The aircraft of Summit Air slipped off the runway during takeoff and hit stationary chopper of Manang Air. The aircraft was en route to Ramechhap district. The authorities have launched a probe into the mishap. Tenzing-Hillary Airport is also known as Lukla airport.

Hackers Publish Sensitive Personal Information Belonging To 4,000 Federal Agents

In one of the biggest and potentially most threatening hacks since the Obama-era 2015 OPM breach, a group of hackers believed to be based in Ukraine has published sensitive personal information of 4,000 FBI agents after infiltrating three chapters of the FBI National Academy Association.

The group, which corresponded with TechCrunch via an encrypted chat, says it is 'structuring' data belonging to employees across several federal law enforcement agencies, and is planning to package the information for sale. When asked if the information could put lives of federal employees at risk, one of the hackers replied: "Probably. yes."

The information posted online included data belonging to 4,000 FBI employees, Secret Service agents, Capitol Police and US Park Police.

The FBI National Academy Associates said in a statement to TechCrunch that the information, posted late Thursday, appears to come from the websites of three local chapters of the nonprofit FBINIAA, which has nearly 17,000 members nationwide and is active in 174 countries.

"We believe we have identified the three affected Chapters that have been hacked and they are currently working on checking the breach with their data security authorities," the organization said.

One of the purported hackers told TC that the organization has hacked "more than 1,000 sites" and that "soon they [the data] will be sold."

“We hacked more than 1,000 sites,” said the hacker. "Now we are structuring all the data, and soon they will be sold. I think something else will publish from the list of hacked government sites."

Border Patrol Union President Says It’s ‘Absolutely Legal’ To Drop Illegals In Sanctuary Cities

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd claimed Sunday that it is “absolutely legal” for the federal government to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities.

Judd argued during a “Fox & Friends” segment that President Donald Trump’s proposed plan to do just that was “brilliant” and should have been cheered by people on both sides.

“It’s absolutely legal,” Judd explained. “But I’m going to get beaten up by the hard left for this comment. But this is actually a brilliant move on the president’s part.”

Judd went on to detail the “two layers” he saw at work in the proposed plan.

“If he’s doing it for humanitarian purposes, he should be praised,” Judd began. “These are cities that the city councils have consciously made a decision they’re going to accept the illegal aliens into their cities to protect them.”

But then Judd addressed the flip side, saying, “If he’s doing it for political reasons, this is brilliant. These people have to be released for one reason or another. And if we’re going to have to release them, why not show the sanctuary cities the same pressure that other cities are feeling.”

“From those two layers, this is a brilliant move,” Judd concluded.

Reports surfaced last week that the White House had proposed transporting detained illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities once the legal 20-day detention period had lapsed, but that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had rejected the plan over public relations concerns.

Following the public reaction to those reports — particularly the response from Democrats who suddenly appeared to oppose an influx of illegal immigrants into the cities they touted as welcoming to all — Trump has doubled down on the idea, saying that his administration is now seriously considering the option.

Pope’s possible successor says mass migration is in reality an invasion and will lead to the extinction of Europe if not stopped

Robert Sarah, an African cardinal who serves as the head of the Vatican’s liturgy office, is often named in traditionalist circles as their hope to one day succeed Pope Francis.

Those who seek to use the Bible to promote migration are pushing a “false” interpretation of the scriptures, Cardinal Sarah said in a new interview with French publication Valeurs Actuelles.

He also branded mass migration a “new form of slavery”.

The cardinal has frequently made waves with his more conservative stances on liturgical practices, Islam, migration and other issues.

Those positions were on full display in the French article, in which Sarah, from Guinea, blasted priests and bishops who “say fuzzy things, vague, imprecise, to escape criticism, and they marry the stupid evolution of the world”.

On Europe, Sarah said that the Church should not cooperate with the increasing acceptance by politicians of mass migration into the traditionally Christian continent.

“All migrants who arrive in Europe are penniless, without work, without dignity… This is what the Church wants?” he asked.

“The Church can not cooperate with this new form of slavery that has become mass migration. If the West continues in this fatal way, there is a great risk that, due to a lack of birth, it will disappear, invaded by foreigners, just as Rome has been invaded by barbarians.”

“My country is predominantly Muslim. I think I know what reality I’m talking about”, he added.

Sarah’s comments are in stark contrast to those from Pope Francis on the subject. Francis has repeatedly stressed the value of migration and has encouraged European countries, in particular, to open their border to flows of migrants coming from the third world.

Last week, he spoke in Morocco, the main destination for sub-Saharan African migrants seeking to reach Europe via Spain, and frequently mentioned migration.

“The issue of migration will never be resolved by raising barriers, fomenting fear of others or denying assistance to those who legitimately aspire to a better life for themselves and their families”, Francis said.

Sarah is much more skeptical of whether the Church should be open to immigration.

He cited the example of Poland, a Catholic country that has strict immigration policies, and said he had urged it not to sacrifice its Polish and Catholic identities “on the altar of a technocratic and stateless Europe”.

“She is free to tell Europe that everyone was created by God to be placed in a specific place, with its culture, traditions, and history”, he told the paper. “This current desire to globalize the world by suppressing nations, specificities, is pure madness.”

In the interview, he urged Europe to avoid embracing materialism and forgetting its Christian heritage, warning that it could lead to the extinction of Europe itself.

“If Europe disappears, and with it the invaluable values of the old continent, Islam will invade the world”, Sarah said. “And we will totally change culture, anthropology, and moral vision.”

In short, these institutions have continued to commit frequent and serious violations of law, spanning an extraordinary variety of civil and criminal misconduct and resulting in tens of billions of dollars in penalties, civil judgments, and other monetary sanctions. The Six Megabanks have not skipped a beat when it comes to committing fraud, market manipulation, and other abuses against their clients, investors, and the financial markets themselves. They continue to violate the law and to generate massive profits and huge compensation packages for their executives, without facing any meaningful punishment, deterrence, or accountability.

The break up of financial conglomerates and the return of Glass-Steagall style divisions between government-insured deposit-taking banks and firms that underwrite investment products is coming because it is essential. The next bear market will make the need painfully obvious once more.

Solar Shield

I make this post from my own observations but will did into it more to verify.

Yesterday I was watching the strange looking clouds change formations to ensure they were covering the sun. It looked very much like this was being done via frequencies as it went from leopard spots to streaks to a checker plate pattern. You could see green and orange reflecting in the clouds so we know it's powdered metals.

Then I started wondering what they were using to cause this.

Is it possible they are using the huge number of phone towers as an enormous HAARP array?

Anyway as some wind picked up and started to move the clouds quicker than they could manipulate and right on queue came another plane to lay a fresh trail.

US Military Attack on Venezuela Mulled by Top Trump Advisors and Latin American Officials at Private DC Meeting

The Washington, DC-based think tank the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) hosted a private roundtable on April 10 called “Assessing the Use of Military Force in Venezuela.” A list of attendees was provided to The Grayzone and two participants confirmed the meeting took place. They refused to offer any further detail, however.

Among the roughly 40 figures invited to the off-the-record event to discuss potential US military action against Caracas were some of the most influential advisors on President Donald Trump’s Venezuela policy. They included current and former State Department, National Intelligence Council, and National Security Council officials, along with Admiral Kurt Tidd, who was until recently the commander of US SOUTHCOM.

Senior officials from the Colombian and Brazilian embassies, as well as top DC representatives from Venezuelan coup leader Juan Guaido’s shadow government, also participated in the meeting.

On January 23, following backroom maneuvers, the United States openly initiated a coup attempt against Venezuela’s elected government by recognizing National Assembly president Juan Guaido as the country’s “interim president.”

Since then, Venezuela has endured a series of provocations and the steady escalation of punishing economic sanctions. President Nicolas Maduro has accused the US of attacks on the Simon Bolivar hydroelectric plant at the Guri dam, which have led to country-wide blackouts openly celebrated by top Trump officials.

In a March 5 call with Russian pranksters posing as the president of the Swiss Federation, US special envoy for Venezuela Elliot Abrams ruled out military action against Venezuela, revealing that he had only held out the threat to “make the Venezuelan military nervous.”

Since then, however, Guaido has failed to mobilize the national protest wave the Trump administration had anticipated, and the Venezuelan military has demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Maduro. In Washington, the sense of urgency has risen with each passing day.

Buttigieg calls for 'a new American spring' in campaign launch

Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Ind., on Sunday officially launched his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, calling for a "new American spring."

"You and I have the chance to usher in a new American spring," he told a crowd of supporters at a rally in South Bend. "So with hope in our hearts and with fire in our bellies, let’s get to work and let’s make history."

Buttigieg, 37, made the announcement almost three months after launching an exploratory committee.

"My name is Pete Buttigieg. They call me Mayor Pete," he said. "I am a proud son of South Bend, Indiana, and I am running for president of the United States."

Buttigieg was introduced Sunday by several mayors, including Austin's Steve Adler, who called Buttigieg a "mayor's mayor" and "a mayor among mayors."

"I am standing here today with other mayors because we know something that this country needs to know, and we are in a unique position to know it. We can answer the question that many in America are asking. Yes, America, Mayor Pete is really that special," Adler said.

The Afghanistan veteran in recent months has seen his poll numbers climb and his campaign raised more than $7 million in the first quarter of 2019, emerging as a serious candidate in the presidential race.

Buttigieg has placed third in recent polls in both Iowa and New Hampshire, which will host the two earliest major presidential nominating contests in 2020.

The mayor has also seen his favorability ratings increase by more than 30 points since February, according to a recent poll.

Buttigieg said his campaign will center around three main principles: freedom, security and democracy.

Buttigieg, who is gay, said "you are certainly not free if a county clerk" gets to determine whether you can get married. He added that "you're not free if your reproductive health choices are dictated by male politicians."

The South Bend mayor took a shot at President Trump when he shifted to "security," saying that there is "a lot more to security than putting up a wall from sea to shining sea," a reference to Trump's efforts to build a wall along the southern border. Buttigieg also said the U.S. “should have nothing to fear from children fleeing violence.”

"I'm here today to tell a different story than 'Make America Great Again,'" he said, without naming Trump. "I do believe in American greatness. I believe in American values."
