What’s to stop Dems from parading 40 potential 2020 presidential candidate then slam dunk by offering Obama again?
I don’t am reason why any of the Dems are running. What happens to their campaign funds when they bow out?
Correct me if I’m wrong…they can transfer funds to Dem nominee and donations don’t count towards individual limit.
Dem voter maxes out donations for each of the 40 candidates, next thing you know is new Dem Running has $500m plus that voter can donate to new campaign.
Dems are either 1. banking on Overtons window scenarios that Dems hate Bernie and Biden and settle for someone _ Beto?
Or 2 they introduce new candidate at last minute that will challenge Trump and get Dem turnout to 75%__ Obama, Oprah, or who else to be slam dunk candidate?
