Sat 28 Oct was still Daylight Savings Time (ended 29 Oct), that's probably where your missing hour lies.
YW. Back to lurk mode now. ;-)
Dunno but one could compare pre- and post- 29 Oct posts (@ original vs. @ 4plebs) and determine, yes? Or if that's not doable, (perhaps less desirable would be to) look to see whether there's a one-hour overlap (DST to EST) (circa 2 a.m. 29 Oct โ dunno 4plebs' standard time zone (EST/GMT/other)) @ 4plebs. HTH.
Hi,
Something is off here. I suspect that your "[0]" find is correct, but you have at least one typo that needs corrected. Please check all of your details and time-zones and numbers in these two posts.
I'm sorry, I'm too brain-fogged by now to think through all of it for you, but one thing that I see that needs fixed is your statement in >>2883 "7:15 EST IS 6:15 EDT" which is backwards because 7:15 EDT is 6:15 EST. (Convert each to GMT and you will see this clearly.) Then recheck >>2688 to be sure that all's in sync between these two posts.
Again, HTH.
Ha, didn't see your >>3018 โฆ great minds think alike.
Easist way to claify your thinking is to convert all times (@ each source) to GMT, then compare.
I need to shut down now but will of course check this thread again soon. Good luck and best wishes!
(1) Re "people โฆ put off", just express the GMT/UTC conversions within the graphic, that should take care of that. (And by the way, that wouldn't be a bad idea to have in all marker graphics, past present and future.)
(2) Re "how to โฆ maintain the original pleb archive" (by which name I assume that you're referring to >>1493 ?), with all due respect, I suggest considering not (necessarily) doing so โฆ
One possible (alternative/additional) route could be to start a separate (for example "all markers graphics", or "all markers graphics archive") thread @ this board, in which to provide each marker graphic in a separate post โฆ because otherwise, as more markers may be found, to have them all in one graphic could become more and more cumbersome.
This would be just one way to get around the potentially ongoing "new graphic" dilemma. Of course someone here may have sufficient patience to maintain both (separate graphics plus, @ each time a new-marker graphic is created, a new all-inclusive graphic), in which case I still suggest keeping all graphics in a newly created thread (i.e. archive), with their post numbers indicated and ongoingly updated in the lead post (sorry, I forget the colloquial name for that mass of material).
If you/we agree on doing so, then, as regards the general threads, (1) one straightforward mention (post) of this new thread's existence, in whatever is the current general thread at the time, would certainly be appropriate, and, (2) IMHO, its existence should also be mentioned and maintained within the content of the material in the lead post that's kept at the top of each new general thread.
โฆ Just my mega-2ยข, at least at this moment, brain fog having been semi-dissipated. :-)
