But, I'm not sure what's up with trumptwitterarchive .com and twatter.

I have both showing tweets in EST but while zero marker is on target in trumptwitterarchive. com, in actual twatter this specific tweet is showing an hour ahead.

According to the archive, it should read: 6:15 PM

A few other random checks between trumptwitterarchive. com and twatter show parity.

I don't see an error in my GMT-EST time conversions. And, I don't see any other errors. This is the only one I've found that has this discrepancy.

We ran a program to cross-check all the chan stamps with the twatters.

In most states in the USA and in most provinces in Canada, Daylight-Saving Time (DST)  is observed.  During DST the time is shifted forward by 1 hour to EDT;  which is 4 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time(GMT-4).

Q_Data_Set_-_Minute_Edition.xlsx from anonfile is EST, converts

to 11:15pm GMT.

We had a fun time parsing Excel export through Perl.

I'm not sure how to best put this in graphic form and maintain the original pleb archive… If all truly lines up, which I think it might. A lot of people are easily put off by the time diff and dismissive. I think it's important though if it does because Q/POTUS answer the number one question by normies, which is why these operations weren't publicly announced sooner and why we've had to deliver through the chans (mockingbird). Any ideas on spelling this out effectively?

Those are excellent ideas, of note is doing the marker graphics separately, otherwise they become too large to see in social. That, and storing in a separate thread and referencing in general.

Seeing new activity re: adding twitter in the qcodefag github repository. I think it would be helpful to have a page for each marker, q and tweet side by side, displaying related news events below, perhaps.

Have been working over in last several general breads on this. There are a few unresolved issues. Two tor users and two text anons have provided more info. Text anons said it was a go. But, some other anons find objections using twatters messed up sticky time zone option tree for UTC user conversions.

BUT, problems with twatter, ttarchive. Here are some questions that remain unanswered. Forgive me if these are stupid questions, but I don't see their resolution and no one has explained yet.

The raw data from their site on CSV export, is agreeably 23:15 or 11:15 GMT. Twatter shows the same with GMT-UTC settings.

If the website translates ALL data to EST, then we should expect to see 6:15 PM EST on their website.

Which we do… well we see 6:15

But, that time is wrong for the date, which should be in EDT.

One problem is, I think, ttarchive changing all times to EST and not EDT where applicable on their site, for example.

Otherwise, their site would correctly read (23:15 -4) 7:15PM —EDT.

Which ODDLY, is actually what twatter is showing for the tweet with user settings at EST.

Can any anons explain this?

here's some working thoughts on stuff.

TOR only converts to REAL GMT accurately if site is using UNIX timestamps.

There are no UNIX timestamps on archive4plebs.

There is an 18:15 (GMT-4) timestamp on archive4plebs, because it is EDT.

THE 22:15 TOR conversion is based on EDT.

So the output is RELATIVE EDT/GMT.

But, I'm tired. I think the issue has something to do with relative time though.
