Vote to be Held on Whether to Oust Zuckerberg as Facebook CEO

Facebook investors will vote on May 30 on a series of proposals, including whether to oust Mark Zuckerberg as the chairman of the board of the company, according to Business Insider.

In his place, an independent executive would take over.

Because of the voting power Zuckerberg holds, a similar proposal in 2017 failed.

It is likely to have the same hurdles this time around, although independent investors are largely supportive of the proposal.
