Didn't know how to please your wife and probably a shitty father. You have only yourself to blame. Blame Jews or whomever, you victim you. Losers never prosper. I worked my whole damn life for as little as $5.00 an hour and now making about $20.00 an hour. Top gig paid $100.00 an hour. So yeah, get a damn hobby that makes you money.

Ageism only exists because Boomers won't lower themselves to work for what younger people make. They think they're above it all. I see it with my own mother who is on the verge of homelessness delivering food with Uber and a beat up old Suburu. She has over 6 figures of student loan debt because she figured after the divorce with my father she should return to school instead of working and lived in California. Now she sleeps in and out of hotels nightly. Lived with me for 2 months and I had enough because she wouldn't listen to any advice including declaring bankruptcy on the loans that weren't student loans.

She got half the money from the house sale after the divorce and spent it all traveling from AZ to Canada, to Oregon, to California all while making $0.00 monthly and spending her student loan money on living expenses. People are really really really dumb!!!

No my mom surprisingly supports Trump but then she's kind of racist against Hispanic people, Muslims, and Skinheads.

She claims she's a Jew but my grandmother says we have 0% Jew DNA. I guess she wants to be like Elizabeth Warren.

Maybe you should go get a clue. I can't save everyone. My wife lives overseas and I have to travel to see her every 3-4 months. I'm not going to keep my mom here in my place rent free as I didn't charge her rent when she lived here for 2 months. I did what I could. My sister did what she could. My grandma did what she could. We can't rescue someone who doesn't want to rescue herself by declaring bankruptcy. Maybe you should look at yourself wishing abortion on someone for a tough love stance.

LOL, just tired of the bitching by boomers. Sorry about that. They had so many years to get their shit together. If they have failed to have money saved, then that's on them. I'm tired of the loser boomers in my family. I care about them, but they cause undue stress.

I stand for self-efficacy and empowerment, not bitching. I stand for true freedom, true opportunity, and faith that God will turn the country around with Trump as his tool. I don't hate people simply for existing. I call out those who deserve to be called out, not a group of people, just individuals.

Glad someone else sees it my way. Have to treat them like they're an alcoholic at some point even if their vice is spending money stupidly and never solving the problem. Gotta keep them at a distance after you've done your part. Not out of your life, but not ruining your life either.

I care about my mom, but it doesn't make her stronger to just act like I'm the government and give her welfare. She has to struggle to make it. Maybe you need to see what tough love is. Not everyone has the mindset you have.

I always had to pay rent while I was in college to my father, or to landlords. I struggled. I made less than 10.00 an hour during that period of my life. My mom makes more than that now, but won't accept a real job where she doesn't have to drive her aging falling apart car to work. Whose fault is that? It's hers. She won't listen to anyone about declaring bankruptcy. Her every last dollar goes to paying off interest, not principle. Whose fault is that? Certainly not mine. I wanted her to declare bankruptcy long ago. We've been pleading with her for over 10 years to stop her borrowing.

Yeah there's no reason I'd sacrifice my future and my life with my wife as a mid thirties millennial for my parent who had years and years to get her act together. I care about her and I wish her success, but I can't make it happen for her. I'm not a millionaire.

My mom likes Trump but she certainly has her oddities. Hears voices, thinks Mexicans were stealing her stuff or sneaking into her apartment in California, etc, but we can't have her committed because the only harm she's doing to herself is financial. She's highly religious too.

>Father was in jail, Grandmother raised meโ€ฆ

Mom couldn't even afford to put food on the table working as a paralegal and substitute teacher for her two kids. Not her fault, but its not like she played a major role in my growth. That was my grandmother.

I'm more than grateful for the minor role she played in my upbringing. Without my grandmother, I wouldn't be where I am today. Without my father, I wouldn't have money sense or the ability to fix a car cheaply. When he got out of jail, I moved in with him after high school when I started college and he taught me everything I need to know about money and ways to save it like learning to do your own auto repairs & buying second hand clothes.

Quick way to blow a lot of cash. I prefer to keep my repairs and upkeep at a minimum. This is why people are so dumb. They feel like a house with land is necessary. I own the interior of my condo, HOA pays for roof leaks and landscaping. I'm cool with that.

True that. If my mom is broke, how could she help me? At least my dad has stable footing. Grandmother will leave my mom 500k when she passes and I'll have to manage it for her because my mom would blow it on some trip overseas or something stupid.

I'm good with boomers who pull their weight in their families, who save their money, and also don't keep millennials from getting promoted at work. I saw a lot of that in my numerous jobs. Millennials were the first to be fired or laid off when the recession hit. People with families and older boomers (empty nesters) kept their jobs.

My dad had the same job working as a subcontractor for the DOJ for 31 years (top security clearance before jail) with a break in between when he went to jail. So no I don't think Boomers have had the same life as a lot of Millennials. Maybe it's just my dad then.
