Listening to POTUS round table- his third trip to Minnesota. How many times have we seen POTUS with the people? With the real people?
bill clinton used to come to San Francisco. Seemed like he was there once a month. But did he hang out with the people? No, don’t remember that. I was invited to a $250-plate dinner hosted by DiFi where wjc spoke. Read that he was staying with Susie Tompkins (ya, do a dig on HER).
His speech was prescient, I realized after the fact, as if he was warning the fortunate people in the room of the coming dot-com crash. I thought, wow, how did he know that? I know better now, obviously.
Trump is personable. Walked by him once in NYC at The Plaza. When he saw me do a double-take on him, he offered a friendly hello.
I understood Trump when I started listening to his words & watching his actions. If the brain-washed masses could only do the same. I have pride in my country again, and hope for our future. 🇺🇸
