Some believers get hung up "worshipping" physical symbols and physical objects. God is a spirit and don't you want to worship Him in spirit and in truth? The whole point is that what is physical is passing away, and that the gift eternal life is a gift of spirit. Those who glorify physical treasures may be looking in the entirely wrong direction.
