http://shoebat.com/2019/04/15/many-muslims-online-are-laughing-as-the-notre-dame-church-burns-down/

That said, and while it has yet to be determined how the fire started, the fact is that each tweet mocking the church burning is fresh tinder to the yet re-emerging political revolutionaries in France.

The Muslims may have a lot of influence, and they are a noted social force, but they still do not have power. If anything, they are cannon fodder in waiting for one with the desire to use them as such.

The Church is a major “symbol” for many in France, and many people do not like Islam. The fact of such actions being so open over this matter on the part of Muslims simply gives those who already do not like them a reason to hate Muslims and a reason to either partake of or to consent without care to their being killed, possibly in large numbers.

Genocide does not solve a man’s problems. However, the fact is that regardless of how this fire started, the political and social friction generated by it is going to be much more serious than the actual fire itself because the sparks generated by the friction are falling of tinder for war.

For the Christian, while it is good to be upset, one must also look at this incident as another reason to continue working, preparing, and getting ready for what is likely going to be a serious future conflict on a global level.

https://abovethelaw.com/2019/04/biglaw-chair-dies-after-taking-leave-for-exhaustion/

Late last year, Baker McKenzie global chair Paul Rawlinson stepped away from his position at the firm to take a leave of absence citing exhaustion. Sadly, Rawlinson has passed away

At the time of his leave, we focused on then-recent struggles at the firm with an inquiry into the firm’s handling of sexual harassment complaints and internal dissension over associate pay as aggravating factors in wearing down an attorney charged with managing one of the largest global firms. His stepping away forced us all to take a hard look at the systemic pressures Biglaw places upon all attorneys and especially those at the top.

With Rawlinson’s passing, it’s worth revisiting all of these concerns and reflecting on what can be done to make the Biglaw model a more hospitable work environment.

Fox News host Shepard Smith immediately shut down a controversial right-wing French caller's conspiracy theory suggesting that the Notre Dame Cathedral fire may have been intentionally set.

Smith offered a concise and immediate rebuke during live on-air coverage of the Paris cathedral's burning after Philippe Karsenty, a former right-wing political candidate, floated the idea Notre Dame was set ablaze by potential terrorists. Karsenty was previously sued for libel after he accused the France 2 network of staging the killing of a 12-year-old Palestinian boy, Muhammad al-Durrah, in 2004.

Smith labeled conspiracy theorists and similar unfounded claims "counterproductive and injurious to society."

French and Israeli media reports have described Karsenty as a "right-wing extremist" tied to far-right Jewish groups over the Palestinian hoax controversy and the ensuing legal battle. Conspiracy theories claming the fire was "deliberate" began popping up on American right-wing media outlets, including Infowars, within minutes of reports of the Notre Dame fire.

Boy they are quick to cut off any mention of Muslim involvement
