The reason for the stories is out of mercy. You are judge according to knowledge. For Christ to continue to openly tell that he was the savior and see in their hearts they were rejecting the Gospel each and every time they were building woe on themselves. The called/elect still heard and understood Christ. Only those who reject Him then as you do now have problems hearing and not hearing and seeing and not seeing!
