NPR is saying Trump is trying to flip MN. They seem concerned. Maybe if he sends all the migrants to St. Paul, he can shake the bleeding hearts awake and make them realize their diversity is not as much of a strength as they have been told. But the self hatred runs deep in MN, and the strong willed sense of being right, regardless of which side, makes families more likely to run to the other side before figuring out how to get along with each other. That probably will not change, it is just a matter of who can capture the middle. To this point the liberals have done that since 1972.
Maybe Amy will get the Dem nomination since 'there is no map that allows to Dems to win without MN' and we can repeat 1984 all over again. She is probably the only Dem that can guarantee MN in the blue column ('that nice lady would be such a good president, and gosh darn it, maybe its time for a woman president'). But if MN being the only blue state in the country would be the outcome, we will make the sacrifice. kek
