IRANIAN FM OFFERS TO SEND REVOLUTIONARY GUARD TROOPS TO VENEZUELA

The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif offered to send troops from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to Venezuela to protect President Nicolas Maduro, according to Channel 13 news.

The offer comes in the midst of an economic and humanitarian crisis in Venezuela. In January, Juan Guaido declared himself leader of Venezuela in a power struggle with socialist President Nicolas Maduro.
