Nancy Pelosi takes ANOTHER shot at AOC and says a 'glass of water with a D next to it' could have won the 29-year-old's seat before warning her not to 'menace' voters

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, 79, has appeared to take another shot at AOC

Pelosi claims that a 'glass of water with a D next to it' could have won AOC's seat

She also said the Democratic Party must avoid the 'menace' of liberal policies pushed by rising political stars like AOC if it wants to beat Donald Trump in 2020

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared to take another thinly veiled shot at the success of rising Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by claiming that a 'glass of water with a D next to its name' would have won her seat.

Pelosi, 79, was speaking at the London School of Economics on Monday where she said that the Democratic Party must avoid the 'menace' of liberal policies pushed by rising political stars if it wants to beat President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

She also used the appearance to set out a centrist vision she believes could help woo Republican voters frustrated with Trump's approach

Pelosi added that New York Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, popularly referred to as AOC, and fellow young progressives elected in 2018 represented only the margins of American society.

In reference to the November midterms, where the Democrats gained control of the House of Representatives, she picked up a glass and said: 'When we won this election, it wasn't in districts like mine or Alexandria's.

Facebook 'gave access to user data to friends of Mark Zuckerberg and favored companies who spent big on advertising', leaked documents reveal

Trove of 4,000 leaked documents shows Facebook's internal approach to data

Company debated charging app developers for access to user data

Ultimately abandoned that approach to use data as 'leverage', documents show

Cut off access for rivals while granting access to big advertisers, report claims

Apparently used privacy concerns as a smokescreen for cutting off rivals

One Facebook executive called Mark Zuckerberg a 'master of leverage'

A trove of leaked documents has revealed years of internal deliberations over user data at Facebook, indicating privacy was used as public justification for business decisions designed to gain 'leverage' against competition, according to reports.

Some 4,000 pages of highly sensitive Facebook internal documents, largely spanning 2011 to 2015, were leaked to a British journalist who shared them with several outlets, according to NBC News.

The documents, which include emails, webchats, presentations, spreadsheets and meeting summaries, appear to show Facebook's internal deliberations on whether to sell user data to third party app developers.

It appears the Facebook ultimately decided against selling user data, instead opting to dole it out to app developers who were considered personal 'friends' of CEO Mark Zuckerberg or those who spend money on Facebook ads or shared their own valuable data.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, Facebook VP and Deputy General Counsel Paul Grewald said that the documents were 'cherry picked' as part of a lawsuit against Facebook to force it to share more data with third parties.

'The set of documents, by design, tells only one side of the story and omits important context,' Grewald said.

'The documents were selectively leaked as part of what the court found was evidence of a crime or fraud to publish some, but not all, of the internal discussions at Facebook at the time of our platform changes. But the facts are clear: we've never sold people's data,' he continued.

The documents mostly describe internal deliberations leading up to a major change that Facebook made in 2014 and 2015, when it severely restricted access to user data from third party apps.

While one employee fretted that the company's approach to user data was 'unethical', Doug Purdy, Facebook's director of product, described Zuckerberg as a 'master of leverage,' according to the documents.

At the time, and following the 2018 Cambridge Analytica data harvesting scandal, Facebook publicly portrayed the policy change as motivated by deep concern for user privacy.

'Have a nice day': ISIS fanatics revel in Notre Dame's destruction days before Easter as they describe the inferno as 'retribution and punishment'

ISIS affiliated propaganda group made a heartless poster of the inferno in Paris

It was accompanied by a cruel message bidding 'au revoir' to Notre Dame

The world mourned as the 850-year-old cathedral erupted in flames on Monday

Prosecutors said they are treating it as an accident, ruling out terror for now

ISIS fanatics are heartlessly revelling in the inferno at Notre Dame Cathedral just days before Easter calling it 'retribution and punishment', according to terror intelligence researchers.

A poster of the blazing cathedral appeared online accompanied by the words, 'Have a good day,' and was created by the ISIS affiliated Al-Muntasir group according to the Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium.

The poster says: 'Its construction began in the year 1163 and ended in 1345. It's time to say goodbye to your oratory polytheism.'

The jihadists referred to the catastrophe as 'retribution and punishment,' SITE intelligence reported.

The chilling message appeared as firefighters continued their efforts to put out the blaze late on Monday night, which broke out less than a week before Easter and amid Holy Week commemorations.

The Al-Munatsir media organisation has shared propaganda rejoicing in terror attacks which have rocked France.

The Paris prosecutor's office said it was treating the fire as an accident, ruling out arson and possible terror-related motives, at least for now.

While the jihadists celebrated online, France and the world mourned the destruction of a glorious symbol of Western civilisation.

I thought i heard someone mention last night that it was a youtube channel filming live called France 24.

Today there is a story in daily mail about that channel,( FRANCE 24), saying that youtube fact check feature by accident put 9/11 details below their video.

so i was thinking maybe they are trying to discredit the channel, and therby discredit video showing man walking on top.

A YouTube fact-check feature which is meant to tackle misinformation accidentally tagged live broadcasts of a fire engulfing Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris with details about the 9/11 terror attacks.

The blaze erupted in the UNESCO world heritage landmark in the French capital on Monday, sending its spire and roof crashing to the ground as flames and clouds of smoke billowed into the sky.

The fire, which at one point threatened the entire edifice, was brought under control early on Tuesday about nine hours after it broke out.

News outlets began live-streaming broadcasts of the fire on YouTube, but below some of the clips an unusual text box popped up - an entry from the Encyclopedia Britannica about the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States.
