These recent articles emphasize that Haspel is on good terms with Trump, in spite of Trump's prior distrust of the intelligence community (DS).
Remember when Chuck Schumer said Donald Trump was being "really dumb" about how he was dealing with the intelligence community?
"Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,"
To me, these articles seem to be communication from the DS in the C_A signaling to their network that Haspel is not on their side after all…. in spite of the fact that EVERYONE (Brennan et al) was supporting her appointment to lead the CIA.

HASPEL KEEPS CIA OFF TRUMP’S RADAR — While personnel turmoil has gripped DHS and other federal agencies, CIA Director Gina Haspel has managed to avoid President Donald Trump’s wrath and dispel doubts on Capitol Hill about the direction of the spy agency, Martin reports. On Thursday, Haspel will deliver her second public remarks, a departure from what former agency officials and lawmakers view as a deliberate strategy by the first female CIA director to stay out of the headlines.
