Over the years I have been told you can't drink alcohol if you want to connect with God, you must believe in Jesus' virgin birth to be approved by God, only priests can communicate with God, you should whirl around in circles to connect with God, there is a God particle and CERN will find it, you have to work on the Chakras for years before you can connect to God. Now I have someone telling me I must believe in a flat earth to find God's truth through Jesus. Meanwhile me and billions of other people connect to God's energy, peace, and messages through prayer, meditation, or just walking barefoot on dewy grass. God is everywhere and s/he/whatever did not set up a bunch of arbitrary obstacles to commune with us.
So with all due respect, please put your ego in check and stop bragging about having the only key to enlightenment.
