Well, the sad reality is this. Either Alan knew, and participated in illicit shit, knowingly or not "caringly" with persons that could have potentially been minors, or he didn't.
If he did, then he coped a plea and the system is working in his favor for continued assistance to taking them all down.
If he did not, and instead, just liked hanging out with shady cunts because they had more money than god, and could pay him very well for his services, then that means Alan just love(s)(d) money more than giving a shit about justice.
