Reported at 11:17 on 4/17… coinkydink? I think not… and he didn't even wait until the weekend. Guess all bets are off now the suicide pool.
The maker of the film being translated was sentenced to death and executed. Many others imprisoned. Apparently the masons were not happy about it.
The translation is done by one person, so you kind of have to watch to see which actor is speaking. It's a little campy due to the time it was made, but there is a VERY interesting conversation around 38:15 where the head of the local lodge breaks it down for the local politician who wants to quit over what really goes on behind the scenes.
Basically it outs the organization as a gang. Well worth watching. Men died to bring this out into the public. Ironically it's set in France.
Guess that would explain the connection between them and the guillotines. Maybe the G stands for guillotine.
Another, much more recent movie where the maker got killed for portraying the truth about some people.
Yep…those people.
